Martina de Alba is a senior editor based in Los Angeles. Though originally from Palma de Mallorca, Spain, Martina spent nine years in Barcelona, where she pursued her BA in graphic design and developed her love for video art. In 2008, she moved to New York City and worked as a staff video editor for VICE Media from 2010 to 2016.
She also hosted VICE Does America, a political exploration docu-series on the VICELAND TV Network. After that, she worked for three years editing documentaries at The Front, a female-based media company in Brooklyn. In 2018, she moved to Los Angeles to collaborate as a director, producer, and editor at BESE, the media company founded by Zoe Saldana.
She has worked across short- and long-form storytelling, including documentary series, for The New York Times, National Geographic, CBSN, MSNBC, Hulu, Vox Media, Spotify, Apple, Alldayeveryday, MasterClass, Droga5, and Refinery29, among others.
She currently edits documentary series for Disney+, Paramount+, and MSNBC while also taking on post-production supervisor roles.
